Drought means the lack of water or rain. It is a natural calamity. It frequently occurs in our country. Our farmers cannot grow crops in fields because of drought. It brings untold suffering. Our people have to starve as it impedes production.
This calamity strikes us in the summer season. The heat of the sun and lack of rain creates unbearable situations for us. The causes of drought are many. Deforestation, the rise of temperature, and climate changes happen to cause drought. Drought has a direct connection with our production of crops.
