Introduction
The train journey was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. It is full of excitement and adventure. This experience is one that you will remember for the rest of your life.
There is no reason to get bored on a train journey, no matter how short or how long the trip is. Traveling by train is a favorite pastime for children, and local trains have their own enigma. There is nothing like a train journey for excitement and entertainment.
Train Journey that I’ve Experienced
A Journey is always a pleasure to me. My heart leaps with joy whenever I embark on a journey. However, the journey by train gives me the most pleasure.
A journey by plane is costly. A journey by bus is risky and uncomfortable. However, trains are a pleasant, safe, and comfortable way to travel.
During the last autumn vacation, I got sufficient time. Therefore, I decided to take the train from Kathgodam to Lucknow. Approximately half an hour before the departure of the train, I reached the station.
It was then a very busy time. Various vehicles with passengers were en route to the station, including Rickshaws, motor cars, and buses.
Coolies were running behind them. Passengers and coolies were shouting and rushing around.
I saw a huge line in front of the ticket counter at the station. Those who had not yet collected tickets were collecting tickets. I had collected the tickets the day before, so I went to the waiting room and waited for the train.
About 35 minutes later, our desired train arrived at the station. Everybody tried to get on the train first. After much difficulty, I got into a second-class compartment. The compartment was full to its capacity.
The train left the station. Gradually the speed of the train increased. Natural beauty greeted me as I gazed outside. The train was running through green paddy fields. The landscape was covered with sugarcane and jute plants. They were tossing their heads in the breeze.
The compartment presented a good scene. Some of the passengers were talking about various matters. Some were reading newspapers and magazines. We saw Hawkers selling their goods in front of us.
The train was an intercity train. It touched only at the big stations. Many passengers were getting off and getting onto the train. The hawkers and the coolies were shouting. They were busy too.
At last, the train reached the Lucknow station at 10:00 PM. I got down. The journey in my heart I bore. It gave me much pleasure. This was, without a doubt, one of the best days of my life.
Conclusion
In summary, train journeys are definitely a unique experience. It’s hard to imagine any other journey that offers the same level of uniqueness as the train ride.

The occasion of My Journey
Last December I went on a train journey. I was urged by my mother to go to my maternal uncle’s house in Jessore. On a sunny day, my sister and I went there.
Beginning of the Journey
At the appointed time, we arrived at Khulna train station. Just 30 minutes before departure, we boarded the train with our essentials. After getting the ticket, I sat near the window.
A whistle sounded at about 9:30 a.m. signaling the departure of the packed train. At first, the train moved on slowly. Then it began speeding up after a while. It was an express train.
Description of the Journey
I was traveling in second class. I looked outside the train through the window. The green meadows, fields, trees, etc. were sparkling with sunlight.
Everything was dazzling when I saw these going backward on our train. Paddy fields and bridges were passing by our train.
Occasionally, the train stopped at stations. Passengers were boarding and descending. An individual with a deformity sat beside me on the train at Noapara station. I was upset observing his pathetic condition.
My mind was occupied with deep thoughts as I realized the contrast between the beauty of nature and the deformity of humanity. The enjoyment of sightseeing got jerked for a while.
It seemed to me that this man was very amusing when I spoke with him. I again looked at nature. Nature appeared to be a collection of photos from a film. Everything was beautiful and joyful. Station after station, the train whistled as it passed.
I fell into a deep pit of enjoyment. I couldn’t recall exactly when I fell asleep at this point. It was my sister who alarmed me when our train reached Jessore station.
Destination
After three and half an hour the train reached Jessore. I found my cousin waiting at the station. Arriving at the station, we grabbed our luggage and left. My cousin welcomed us cordially. Our uncle’s house was a short distance away, so we hired a rickshaw to get there.
Conclusion
Our journey was an enjoyable one. It was not only thrilling but also sensational. My memory of this event will remain vivid forever. Train travel is something everyone should do if they have the chance.
